Resourcing Manager 12 month contract Reading/Home MBNL is embarking on one of the most ambitious transformation activities in its history. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organisation by bringing in fresh skills, diverse perspectives, and strong leadership capabilities aligned with our new behaviours and strategic direction. To support this transformation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Resourcing Manager to drive excellence across our hiring processes, employer branding, and talent strategy. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2-3 days per week based in our Central Reading office. Responsibilities of the Resourcing Manager include: Design and deliver recruitment campaigns (in partnership with our recruitment MSP) to attract top talent to MBNL. Create compelling employer branding content to support both programme-specific and BAU recruitment efforts. Redesign recruitment processes and tools to reflect our new behaviours and competencies, to ensure fairness, modernity, and strategic alignment. Revise traditional role profiles and define new talent pools to unlock fresh talent beyond telecoms, especially in the Infrastructure, Utilities, Power, Rail and Asset Management space. Build hiring manager capability across the business, including tools and training to support inclusive and effective recruitment. Embed EDI principles throughout recruitment, onboarding, and internal mobility processes. Review and optimise supplier relationships to ensure recruitment strategies are tailored for an infrastructure management organisation. Identify opportunities for early careers programmes, internships, and work experience to build a sustainable talent pipeline. The successful Resourcing Manager will have: Proven business partnering experience in recruitment strategy, talent acquisition, and employer branding gained within an Infrastructure or Operational Asset Management focused organisation. Ability to direct and support hiring managers to define roles and selection criteria. A strong understanding of EDI and how to embed it into recruitment practices. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment. Experience working with external recruitment partners and managing supplier performance. A passion for transforming recruitment to attract diverse, high-calibre talent.
