- I'm currently recruiting for an experienced
Health & Safety Manager (Generalist) to join a leading organisation on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong stakeholder relationships and driving a positive health and safety culture across a varied operational and construction landscape.
Key responsibilities will include
- Leading and supporting Health & Safety initiatives across the business.
- Providing expert Health & Safety advice and guidance to managers and project teams.
- Delivering Health & Safety projects from planning through to implementation.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practice.
- Supporting compliance with Health & Safety legislation, policies and procedures.
- Conducting site visits, audits and risk assessments where required.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and driving positive behavioural change.
- Ensuring Health & Safety remains at the forefront of operational decision-making.
We're looking for someone with
- Strong Health & Safety experience with excellent practical knowledge.
- Construction industry experience (essential).
- A proven track record of delivering Health & Safety projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to quickly establish credibility and influence managers at all levels.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to hit the ground running.
- Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
