We're looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Analyst to play a key role in driving cost discipline, financial insight, and high-quality reporting across our organisation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy partnering with the business, and have a passion for turning numbers into meaningful stories, this could be the perfect next step. In this role, you'll take ownership of month-end processing, quarterly forecasting, and cost management across People and T&O. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and operational teams, you'll help challenge assumptions, manage spend, and ensure financial accuracy.
You'll also lead the timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, and forecast reporting to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders - ensuring clarity, consistency, and confidence in the numbers.
Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Analyst include:
- Cost Management & Business Partnering
- Completing month-end journals and preparing management reporting packs with insightful analysis and commentary.
- Owning balance sheet reconciliations and shareholder reporting.
- Preparing Smartview upload files and building forecast reporting with clear narrative and analysis.
- Working closely with Finance Business Partners and the wider business to stay ahead of month-end and forecast changes.
- Supporting external auditors with testing and queries for your areas of responsibility.
Internal & Shareholder Reporting
- Delivering internal sales reporting.
- Refreshing, reconciling, and rolling forward monthly and quarterly shareholder reporting, including key business indicators.
The successful Senior Finance Analyst will have:
- Part-qualified (close to completion) or fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Strong Excel skills and an appetite to learn new tools and systems.
- Experience with Alteryx or Smartview is a bonus.
- Background in reporting, forecasting, or cost management is highly beneficial.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
