We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Project Manager to lead and support the successful delivery of strategic business change initiatives across a fast-paced and evolving organisation. This role is ideal for a commercially minded Project Manager who thrives on delivering business transformation, improving operational processes, and driving cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to wider business objectives while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle. This is a 12 month fixed term contract offering great benefits. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in central Reading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of business and transformation projects across multiple workstreams.
  • Drive business change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption, engagement, and operational readiness across impacted teams.
  • Manage project governance, reporting, and controls in line with PMO standards and delivery frameworks.
  • Own and maintain RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are proactively identified, tracked, and mitigated.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, steering groups, and governance forums to support decision-making and project alignment.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource forecasts, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Operations, Technology, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, and third-party suppliers.
  • Support procurement and commercial activities and ensure business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into deliverable outcomes.
  • Track project budgets, financial forecasts, and delivery milestones while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, business processes, and operational ways of working.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience working as a Business Project Manager within a complex business or transformation environment.
  • Strong experience delivering business change and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience managing RAID logs, governance processes, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience working with PMO frameworks, project controls, and reporting standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and project financials.
