As an Acquisition Delivery Manager at Project People in Reading, UK, you will take full ownership of overseeing end-to-end site acquisitions, managing supplier relationships, and resolving complex property and legal bottlenecks across telecommunications infrastructure portfolios. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including Property, Legal, Commercial, Finance, and Code departments, monitoring third-party supplier performance, and conducting high-stakes negotiations for telecom sites. You will draw upon your extensive experience within a telecoms operator, Managed Service Provider (MSP), or small works contractor environment to accelerate site delivery timelines and enforce rigorous governance standards. Working in a collaborative corporate environment requiring hybrid presence in Reading, you will maintain meticulous tracking logs, mitigate project risks, and ensure full alignment with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end site acquisitions, lease negotiations, and property management workflows for telecom infrastructure projects.
- Manage site-specific property issues, legal queries, and third-party supplier deliverables to keep acquisitions moving.
- Coordinate closely with internal Property, Legal, Commercial, Finance, and Code teams across the telecommunications sector.
- Monitor, evaluate, and manage third-party supplier performance, SLAs, and commercial agreements.
- Drive complex site negotiations with landlords, agents, and local authorities in compliance with electronic communications code.
- Deliver telecommunications site acquisition (ADC) projects on schedule and within designated budget constraints.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate property-related project risks, wayleave bottlenecks, and planning permission hurdles.
- Participate in hybrid office working arrangements in Reading (2-3 days/week in office, 3 days/week during onboarding).
- Maintain comprehensive tracking registers, site status reports, financial forecasts, and stakeholder communication logs.
- Ensure strict adherence to UK property regulations, statutory compliance standards, and corporate governance guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in telecommunications property management and site acquisition.
- Proven track record delivering complex telecoms acquisition and Acquisition Delivery Centre (ADC) projects.
- Hands-on professional background working within a telecoms operator, Managed Service Provider (MSP), or small works contractor environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, supplier negotiation, contract administration, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Deep practical understanding of telecom property law, wayleaves, leases, and statutory codes.

- Professional availability for a 12-month contract engagement with hybrid presence in Reading, UK.
