NTQ Surveyor

To be responsible for the successful Acquisition Delivery (from site selection to legal access) of replacement sites which have arisen because of a Landlord NTQ activity.

This also includes effective internal and external Stakeholder and supplier management and reporting , as well as effective relationship management including (but not limited to) drawing delivery and Host Site mitigation strategies to ensure key Customer impact is effectively mitigated.

A strong knowledge of the Electronic Communications Code (ECC), set out in Schedule 3A of the Communications Act 2003 is an absolute requirement as this is the legislative vehicle that has to be adhered to when Company procure new sites.

Responsibilities

  • To drive delivery through effective management of internal stakeholders, 3rd party Agents and Suppliers.
  • Manage a programme of work comprising of multi property-related transactions, lease renewals and coverage retention activities such as new site acquisitions, temporary site replacements and relocations.
  • To be aware of & manage the dependencies across the region/programme and under other Company teams (Demand, Finance, Legal, Delivery) through planning, tracking & reporting to ensure Company, Customer and Shareholder targets are achieved.
  • To provide visibility of the potential future work streams by working closely with the site retention team, tracking early warning notices and ensuring related activities are launched and tracked in accordance with agreed NTQ processes.
  • To deliver defined Capex & Opex targets & agreement terms by applying agreed standards, policies & expertise and escalating exceptions to enable the business to make informed decisions.
  • Apply asset management & property expertise to support & validate the work of 3rd party suppliers and to ensure site specific issues are addressed.
  • To provide strategic thinking to NTQ – apply Code Strategies and giving direction to all NTQ suppliers including acquisition design and legal suppliers.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build & maintain effective working relationships with other company stacks; including Estates; Legal; procurement; Demand and Finance and the Shareholder regional teams and other Company teams to ensure Company policy is understood & applied consistently and improve certainty that objectives will be achieved by setting realistic expectations delivering on commitments & effective communication.
  • Continuous Improvement Identify areas for improvement & take ownership of specific issues through to resolution to drive improved performance and achieve targets.
  • Supplier Management Manage 3rd party suppliers to deliver agreed targets on a defined group of sites by creating an environment that drives success & secures business targets through reporting and management of key deliverables

Experienced Required:

  • Strong knowledge of the ECC (electronic communications code)
  • Experience working on NTQ projects
