Infrastructure Planning & Design Specialist required to support the planning and delivery of infrastructure build activity across a complex network estate. You’ll use your technical infrastructure knowledge to make sure sites are properly planned, requirements are understood and projects are ready to move into delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and validating site requirements across areas such as power, fibre, space, cooling and capacity.
  • Reviewing technical information, drawings, network topologies and site layouts.
  • Applying engineering standards and supporting design assurance, QA/QC and peer reviews.
  • Identifying site constraints, risks and potential delivery issues.
  • Working closely with Architecture, Deployment, Operations, Property, Power and Supply Chain teams.
  • Supporting capacity planning and demand management making sure infrastructure is planned efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring governance processes are followed.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across infrastructure planning and delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in infrastructure planning, network delivery, deployment or technical coordination.
  • Good understanding of network, fibre, power, data centre or similar infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of power, fibre, space, cooling and capacity.
  • Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and network/site information.
  • Understanding of infrastructure build and deployment processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Confident working across multiple technical and operational teams.
