The role will be heavily focused Vetting\\Background Checks (BPSS) of new starters using Experian.
Create guidance and training content to support self-service for key people processes (e.g., onboarding, probation, leavers).
The HR Advisor will work within established policies and are also responsible for designing and delivering new or updated people processes, collaborating with stakeholders and supporting project delivery.
Vetting Services Focused
- This role has a strong emphasis on Vetting Services-coordinating background checks in line with policy, liaising with vetting partners to manage risk, and supporting both candidates and employees.
- The Advisor ensures vetting is completed within agreed service levels, acts as the first point of contact for queries and low- to medium-risk cases, and manages associated employee relations cases.
Reporting Responsibilities
- Advisors track vetting status daily and provide regular reports to leaders on completion rates.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- A Levels or equivalent (High School / FE College).
- HR-related degree/diploma useful but not essential.
Experience:
- Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, or systems.
- Strong Vetting experience
- Experian experience
- Knowledge of employment compliance checks desirable.
