Job Description
General Ledger Accountant | Fully Qualified
6 month Day Rate Contract
Location: Newbury or Glasgow| Hybrid (2 -3 days per week on site)
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 year's experience in transactional accounting, month-end processing, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Tasks
- Month-end journal preparation & posting
- Month-end sense checks, analysis & reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Audit schedules and explanations
- Working with team to resolve problems, identify and improve processes
- Support accounting integration project
Must haves
- Qualified accountant (2yrs+ non-audit business experience)
- Demonstratable experience of systems and processes controls and improvements
