Theale – 3 days a week in the office/ rest from home

We’re looking for a Business Application Support Analyst to join our growing Application Support Team. This is a pivotal role where you’ll help drive operational excellence by delivering and supporting small to medium-sized changes across a diverse and evolving application landscape.

Responsibilities of the Business Application Support Analyst include:

  • Managing and delivering application changes from initial assessment through to release and post-implementation support
  • Conducting impact assessments, effort estimations, and feasibility reviews to ensure successful outcomes
  • Providing incident and operational support, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and escalated where needed
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams, Business Analysts, and external vendors to deliver secure, high-quality solutions
  • Supporting Acceptance Into Service (AIS) to ensure new or enhanced applications transition smoothly into BAU
  • Ensuring all changes meet governance, testing, and documentation standards before go-live
  • Creating and maintaining high-quality documentation including runbooks, knowledge articles, and support models
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across change processes and the wider Application Support function

The successful Business Application Support Analyst will have:

  • Proven experience supporting enterprise applications within an IT environment
  • Strong understanding of incident, change, and release management processes
  • Experience delivering or coordinating small to medium complexity changes across multiple platforms
  • Ability to assess risk, challenge assumptions, and ensure operational readiness
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and validating deliverables against contractual expectations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across cross-functional teams

Desirable exposure to technologies such as: Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, ITSM tools (e.g. Remedy, Halo), and integration environments.
