Job Description
Salary: Starting at acompetitive £26,000 perannum withSleep-inspaid at a supplementary rate of £50 per night .
Location: Our services areprimarily based across Guildford andCranleigh , but you may also besupporting at activities and venues across the Surrey area.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week,working 5 of 7 days, with an average of 2 sleep-ins per week. This role requires flexibility to work on a rotational rotapattern covering Monday – Sunday each week across shiftspatterns which include early shifts, day shifts, late shifts,sleep-ins and some weekends. Please see below for an examplerota.
Annual Leave: 30 days pro-rata,inclusive of bank holidays.
Training: Fully paid training isgiven including the industry recognised Care Certificate, andfurther development opportunities are available including PositiveBehaviour Support and opportunities to study for accreditedNational Vocational Qualifications.
Our Supported Living CareWorkers are a vital part ofhowwe nurture independence in adults aged 18+ through our highlyregarded Supported Living service.
You will beresponsible for:
Providinghigh-quality support to our young adults and helping to plantheir day-to-day lives whilst working to achieve theirgoals.
Encouragingandsupporting on tasks within their own home as well as helping them to plan andaccess their social life, activities, and engagements withinthe local community and further afield.
Some personal care and administration of medicine may be required depending on who you are supporting (Full training provided).
Flagging up anyconcerns or potential for concern that you may have relatingto an adult we support to theappropriatepersonnel.

- Willing toundertake an Enhanced DBS Check. The initial cost ofthe DBS application will be paid for by halow. Pleasenote , it is a criminaloffence for people who are barred from working in RegulatedActivity (Under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act2006) to apply for a role that requires them to workunsupervised with that particular group (i.e. adults at risk,children or both).
