Project Partners are now recruiting for an experienced and proactive Mechanical Shift Technician to come and join their established team in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Job Role:

  • Effectively carry out planned maintenance tasks and respond in a timely manner to breakdown repairs whilst meeting safety, health, environmental and financial targets.
  • Support and enforce all the company’s maintenance strategies and policies at the plant.
  • Enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance to achieve zero accidents and incidents based on UK legislation and company policies to support the goal of continued license to operate and prevent injury.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Time served apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent.
  • National certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a heavy industrial process engineering environment.
  • Problem solving capabilities.
  • Positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
