Plant Operative

Project Partners are now on the lookout for an Operative to join their fantastic team in Lincoln. The role involves supporting the Plant Manager with the running of a busy Asphalt plant, ensuring Health & Safety is prioritized while meeting production needs.

Base Pay Range

Hours: Mon-Fri 6.00-4.00 (shifts) and Saturday/Sunday AM (if delivered work is scheduled). Night work may need to be covered if customer orders are placed (unsociable hours payment will be paid).

Salary: Up to £30,500 depending on experience + £1200 Salary Supplement for being available to work Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

• Weighbridge – Day to Day Operations
• Operation of Coating Plant – producing asphalt in accordance with technical quality standards
• Operation of the loading shovel
• General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site
• Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems, and reporting procedures

Candidate Experience

• Experience working in a coating or similar production environment preferred
• A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards
• Good communication skills and teamwork are required
• NVQ Wheeled Loader licence an advantage – though full training package would be given to the successful applicant
• Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic
• Ability to work within an extremely busy team environment
• Fitting skills / Mechanical experience would be an advantage
