As demand for pilot training continues to grow, our client is expanding their recruitment team and are seeking a highly motivated Pilot Recruitment Manager to lead enquiries, admissions, and lead generation activity.
The Role
The Pilot Recruitment Manager plays a critical role in converting enquiries into enrolled students while delivering a professional, consultative admissions experience. This role blends sales, lead generation, CRM management, requiring strong organisation, communication, and commercial awareness. You will be the first point of contact for prospective pilots, guiding them from initial enquiry through to consultation calls that you will lead, with some candidates progressing onward to the Head of Training or senior leadership where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Pilot Admissions & Recruitment
- Act as the primary contact for all prospective pilot enquiries
- Qualify leads across Integrated, Modular, Scholarship, and Career programmes
- Provide accurate, timely information on training pathways, entry requirements, and funding options
- Book and manage consultation calls with senior team members
- Maintain a high conversion rate from enquiry to enrolment
- Manage inbound leads from digital advertising campaigns
- Follow up on warm and cold leads in line with agreed response times
- Support marketing campaigns with timely lead handling and feedback
- Identify opportunities to improve enquiry-to-enrolment performance
- Accurately log and categorise all enquiries within a CRM System
- Maintain clean, up-to-date records and reporting
- Follow established SOPs for enquiry handling, email communication, and calendar bookings
- Ensure professional and consistent communication across all touchpoints
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sales, admissions, recruitment, or lead generation
- Strong phone and email communication skills
- Experience using CRMs (HubSpot preferred)
- Ability to manage high enquiry volumes efficiently
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident, professional, and personable manner
- Experience in aviation, pilot training, or education admissions (Desirable)
- Understanding of consultative or high-value sales processes (Desirable)
- Experience working with senior stakeholders (Desirable)
- Familiarity with digital lead funnels and campaign-based recruitment (Desirable)
