Project Partners are now on the lookout for an experienced Operative to join a well-established team working at our client's site in Ringwood, Hampshire.
Job Description:
- Daily operation of the quarry, within a “hands on” role to ensure the timeliest and cost-effective production of all materials produced on site.
- Operation of the processing plant.
- Operating mobile plant to feed the processing plant.
- Planned maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Weighbridge operation.
- Adhere to and actively promote Health & Safety Standards.
- Review equipment and production conditions at all times.
- Flexible attitude to working tasks & hours.
Required Skills:
- Ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of quarry extraction and processing and/or experience of working within a similar role/industry.
- Ideally have a good understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures associated with quarrying/site operations.
- Training and qualifications for operating Mobile Plant (Preferred: Loading Shovel including experience of feeding processing plant hopper and LGV loading).
- An effective team player that can motivate and inspire other individuals to engage and comply with business policies and standards.
- Able to build up relationships and have good communication.
