About Project Merchandise

We believe brands deserve better than trashy merch, so we’re here to help their promotions be more sustainable. Sustainable merch just makes sense, which is why we have curated our entire collection using responsible values, branding only the most consciously created items. It’s this kind of thinking that helped us become a B Corp, part of a network committed to using business as a force for good. We’re making an impact and growing fast as a result. We’re now looking for a Junior Artworker who wants to do the same. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, disruptive business with big ambitions, and to be a part of its early expansion. The role will give the successful applicant the chance to develop their skills and to progress as the business continues its growth.

Job Overview

The Junior Artworker will support the Sales and Marketing functions by delivering on requests for artwork and visual assets for various client and brand applications. As an integral part of the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating client outreach and quote decks, preparing proofs and final artwork, and developing assets for our digital channels. The role will be fast paced, suiting a proactive individual with prioritisation skills, and as you will be creating assets for a multitude of brands, the role requires a consistently meticulous eye for detail to ensure briefs are delivered accurately and on time, with client brand guidelines followed. A clear understanding of print and digital production processes is also required. Though this isn’t strictly a creative position, there are opportunities for the right candidate to flex their skills on brand projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Create high-quality product mock‑ups by applying logos and branding to merchandise using Adobe Photoshop
  • Prepare production‑ready artwork files and proofs from approved mock‑ups when required, working within client branding guidelines
  • Assess quality and suitability of client assets for intended use
  • Produce outreach decks and presentation materials for brands and clients in line with product launches and sales calendar
  • Source and curate brand assets from websites, social media platforms, and other public channels while maintaining visual consistency
  • Ensure all artwork and presentations maintain a high standard of accuracy, brand consistency, and visual presentation
  • Adapt designs across different product types and formats efficiently
  • Support the wider creative and marketing team with ad‑hoc design and artwork requests
  • Assist with occasional copywriting for presentations, social media posts, and marketing materials
  • Work with Sales and Production teams to complete client projects on time and in full
  • Offer and implement ideas for continual improvement of design projects and processes

Must Haves

  • 1 year’s experience in a similar role or a degree in a related field
  • Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage a varied workload
  • Drive to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Strong understanding of branding, layout, and visual presentation
  • Ability to work independently without formal brand guidelines

Please include a portfolio of your work, or a link to this, within your application or an accompanying message.

Nice to Haves

  • Creative skills, including digital content creation and vector graphics creation
  • An interest in or working knowledge of sustainability issues

Company Benefits

  • Westfield Health cash plan for everyday healthcare
  • Auto‑enrol pension plan with company matching up to 3%
  • Hybrid working
  • Volunteering days
