Responsibilities
- Managing assets independently within investment policy guidelines to achieve investment objectives.
- Supervising a small team.
- Implementing investment strategies consistent with client financial goals, risk tolerance, and in accordance with investment policies, philosophies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Working with research, strategy team members, and other portfolio team members.
- Meeting with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance, and current market conditions.
- Independently implementing investment strategies for more complex funds/strategies in line with client financial goals, risk tolerance, and applicable policies and regulations.
- Evaluating the performance of investments and making timely changes to a portfolio to meet investment objectives or allocation guidelines.
- Analyzing and determining a client’s appropriate level of risk based on time horizon, preferences, expectations, and market conditions.
- Contributing to the firm’s profitability by ensuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships through superior investment performance and client services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- Demonstrable investment experience.
- Leadership experience desired.
- CFA or MBA required.
- Experience in fixed income, equities, and ETFs desired.
