Your Tasks
- Define, develop, and maintain analytical and actuarial models for all long-tail lines of business, supporting data-driven underwriting decisions in the industrial customer insurance business of HDI Global SE.
- Handle ad-hoc analytical requests for special or complex topics.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for ESG line of business, including KPI monitoring, portfolio performance deep dives, regular reporting, and support of planning and forecasting processes.
- Support the integration of ESG line of business into portfolio steering activities.
- Close collaboration with strategic underwriters and other stakeholders (controlling, pricing, actuarial valuation) in home office and (lead-)underwriters worldwide.
- Collaborate closely within the team to ensure alignment, methodological consistency, and best practices across all lines of business.
Your Profile
- Strong actuarial and analytical mindset with a deep understanding of underwriting principles and decision-making in industrial customer insurance.
- High ownership mentality with a proactive advisory approach and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Professional actuarial qualification is an advantage (e.g. DAV, SAV, CAS, IA or similar).
- Several years of professional experience within an insurance company.
- Proficiency in statistical, analytical, and data visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R, Power BI).
- Strong analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of working in an international, cross-functional team.
- Strong proficiency in English and willingness to learn German.
