As a Program Manager within Global Equities at JPMorganChase, you will lead governance and delivery across a complex, global transformation portfolio spanning multiple business units within the Corporate & Investment Bank, including Global Clearing, Equities Derivatives Group, Cash Equities, Prime Cash, Synthetics, and Stock Borrow Loan. The Equities Operations Transformation team manages end-to-end execution of initiatives driven by industry change, digital solutions, automation, and global business expansion.
You will design and operate a best-in-class governance and control framework, ensuring consistent, audit-ready project artifacts across the portfolio. Success in this role requires close collaboration within the Global Transformation Team and with partners across Equities Businesses, Technology, Product Development, Finance, Operations, and Risk & Control to align objectives, manage dependencies, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibilities- Own the governance and control framework across the complex, cross-functional, Equities Transformation book of work.
- Establish, maintain and enforce a best in class, robust and auditable project artefact standard across the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects adhere with firm-wide Risk and Control guidelines, maintaining our control environment.
- Develop and manage integrated project artefacts across the project lifecycle, ensuring highest standards are met across the global transformation team.
- Maintain a strong control mindset, embedding proactive risk identification, issue management, and effective escalations.
- Communicate progress, updates, risks and issues to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in managing and governing complex programs within financial services, demonstrated through a strong track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise establishing and operating portfolio governance.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; ability to operate at executive and working-team levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial markets and post-trade Operations.
- Experience planning, executing and delivering change and large-scale platform or process transformations.
- Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytical problem-solving skills in a project management context.
- Knowledge of financial markets or related financial services.
- Direct experience in Operations and/or post-trade processes.
- Knowledge of Equities' markets and products.
- Experience of automation to streamline project workflows and increase operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies.
