Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough credit analysis on potential investments, including reviewing financial statements, covenant structures, and market positioning.
- Assessing issuer risk and making recommendations based on creditworthiness and expected performance.
- Executing buy and sell orders for leveraged loans and high yield bonds, maintaining appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitoring portfolio risk metrics, including exposure concentrations, ratings migration, and default probabilities; implementing hedging strategies as needed and proactively managing risks associated with CLO structures and underlying assets.
