As a Central Europe Cluster Design and Construction (D&C) Project Manager within the Global Real Estate team, you will support Regional D&C to lead through all phases of the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, engineering, construction, and financial closure. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet commercial objectives, technical and functional requirements, and comply with JPMorgan Chase standards and local regulations.
Job Responsibilities- Lead technical due diligence efforts in collaboration with transaction, engineering team and other stakeholders as appropriate, in line with project, business and resiliency objectives.
- Implement in conjunction with internal/external experts and internal stakeholders key workplace design principles and guidelines.
- Support maintainability, sustainability and accessibility valid in country practices, regulations and JPMorgan standards.
- Lead procurement process supported by Sourcing team and Consultants including establishing scope of work, selection panel participation, etc.
- Support design process in partnership with Regional Design to achieve the JPMorgan workplace mission and standards to meet business operational requirements with project commercial and program objectives.
- Incorporate sustainability, maintain accessibility guidelines and policy and green building best practices into design and construction projects.
- Support global initiative on planning metrics, progress reports, dashboard reporting, ACR database and metrics of actual space utilization/density.
- Execute building construction/fit out projects per published design, furniture per guidelines and standards.
- Deliver a workplace environment that is safe, improves efficiency and productivity and enhances staff attraction and retention.
- Contribute proactively to the Global D&C agenda and objectives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and value creation.
- Manage and collaborate with JPMorgan functional partners (Technology, Multimedia, Dining Services, Security, etc), consultants, third party vendors and product suppliers, review of plans and construction documents and execute successfully per program and cost, in compliance to JPMorgan processes and policies.
- Ensure timely project financial closure and maintain fiscal accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience in corporate real estate, financial services, or related sectors, with a proven track record managing all phases of complex corporate construction/fit-out projects.
- Direct experience in commercial architecture, interior renovation, workplace planning, project management, strategic planning, building construction, life safety, and building codes.
- Demonstrated fiscal accountability for projects from inception through post-occupancy.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to resolve problems and conflicts effectively.
- Advanced programming and space planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and industry-standard project management tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding client service and ensure project profitability.
