The Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Estimating Manager to lead our Estimating Department.
You will lead the estimating team, oversee technical accuracy, prepare competitive tenders using SMART software and support the successful delivery of projects from tender through to supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Estimating team.
- Prepare and review accurate estimates using SMART software.
- Review kitchen designs, specifications and technical documentation.
- Ensure quotations and technical information are commercially and technically accurate.
- Liaise with Sales, Project Management and Suppliers.
- Manage supplier pricing and support commercial negotiations.
- Drive continuous improvement across departmental processes and performance.
About You
You will have
- Previous management or supervisory experience within the contract kitchen industry.
- Proven experience using SMART estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of Winner CAD or similar kitchen design software.
- Excellent technical understanding of fitted kitchen design, products and specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness, leadership and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and work to demanding deadlines.
Experience with German or Dutch kitchen manufacturers would be advantageous.
