We’re one of the UK’s leading renewable energy installers.
We design and fit air source heat pumps, solar PV, EV chargers and more, for everyone from homeowners cutting their energy bills to developers and energy companies rolling out low carbon projects at scale. Whatever the size of the job, our customers trust us to get it right.
About this role
We're looking for a B2B Site Manager to provide hands‑on site leadership, technical support and design for B2B installations, ensuring safe working, high standards, strong productivity and excellent service to commercial customers on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible site leadership on B2B projects, supporting installation teams and subcontractors across allocated sites.
- Produce solar PV designs and structural calculations, and loft, ventilation and TTZC designs for B2B projects, carrying out installation surveys and design visits where applicable.
- Monitor daily activity on B2B sites, including workmanship, progress and adherence to agreed installation standards.
- Carry out field observations, quality checks and coaching to improve first‑time‑right performance.
- Provide technical and construction support to customers and installers before, during and after B2B installs, resolving site issues and escalating technical, safety or customer risks when required.
- Prepare order sheets for B2B PV installs, roof and ventilation work, checking quotes for accuracy and cost, so installers have the correct materials, tools, information and access.
- Coordinate direct‑to‑site deliveries from supply partners and the outsourced scrap collection service on B2B projects, so sites are supplied and cleared on time.
- Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks on B2B projects, supporting the Head Engineer on the competency and coaching of field staff.
- Check RAMS for new and existing subcontractors, maintain health and safety records such as scaffold and ladder registers, and carry out scaffold inspections.
- Maintain accurate field records, photographs, completion evidence and issue logs, and project manage contract work, including CDM documentation.
- Work with the Programme Manager, Technical Manager, B2B Install Manager and Head Engineer to coordinate priorities and recover delayed work.
- Input to and review B2B project costings, and check subcontractor invoices before payment.
- Promote excellent site housekeeping, customer care and professional conduct.
- Support investigations into incidents, defects and complaints on B2B projects, and support remedial work, ensuring agreed actions are completed.
What we're looking for
- Someone with hands‑on experience in field installation, construction or building services
- Experience of PV, ventilation or structural design, site surveys and H&S documentation, including RAMS and CDM
- Experience leading work on commercial sites, including subcontractors and other trades
- Strong practical problem‑solving ability
- Good understanding of safe working practices
- Confident communicator and coach
- Organised and comfortable using mobile / digital systems
- CSCS card, supported by the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test and an NVQ in a relevant construction or building services trade
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate
- CISRS scaffold inspection card and certificate
- First Aid at Work certificate
General Responsibilities
- Work in accordance with Project Heating Solutions policies, procedures, values and delegated authorities.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, customer service and professional conduct.
- Protect confidential company, customer, employee and commercial information.
- Contribute positively to continuous improvement and cross‑functional teamwork.
- Undertake other reasonable duties consistent with the scope and level of the role.
