The role ensures that all technical workstreams progress according to plan, vendor teams deliver to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and technical readiness is achieved across all clusters. Working across multiple System Integrator (SI) and vendor partners, as well as internal technical leads, the Project Manager ensures alignment with design authority decisions, manages risks and dependencies, and provides clear reporting to project leadership. Ultimately, the role is accountable for ensuring technical delivery is controlled, predictable, and fully aligned with business and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities

- Delivery Leadership: Lead daily stand-ups and technical workstream meetings to monitor progress against the plan and manage burn-down charts. Identify blockers early, drive timely resolution, and ensure that technical teams maintain high-quality documentation and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee SI and vendor performance against contractual SLAs and delivery commitments. Coordinate technical activities across multiple suppliers and internal teams, escalating vendor risks and performance issues promptly.
- Functional/Technical Readiness & Quality Assurance: Define and manage functional and technical readiness criteria for each deployment stage. Oversee test entry and exit criteria, ensuring environments, data, and integrations are ready.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the ERP Solution Lead to ensure alignment between design and delivery. Coordinate with the Testing Manager on environment readiness and defect management.
- Risk, Assumption, Issue & Dependency (RAID) Management: Maintain a comprehensive technical RAID log and ensure robust mitigation plans are in place. Escalate critical risks to programme leadership and the PMO.
- Reporting & Governance: Provide regular, structured updates to the PMO, Programme Directors, and governance forums. Produce technical readiness assessments and leadership dashboards.
