Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Electrician will carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across commercial and/or industrial sites, following all relevant regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe working practices with electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system upgrades.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Relevant electrical qualifications or apprenticeship (e.g., recognized NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent) and up-to-date knowledge of applicable electrical regulations and standards.
- Testing and Inspection preferable.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites as required.
- Previous experience in facilities management, commercial, or industrial environments is an advantage.
- ECA Card Holder.
- Available to work overtime hours and weekends where required.
