Project EV are seeking a skilled and proactive

Field Service Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting the UK's transition to sustainable energy solutions.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working with EV charging systems and Solar PV installations, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out EV charger maintenance, fault finding, and repairs to a high standard.
  • Manage van stock and ensure parts are available for upcoming jobs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service on every visit.
  • Complete accurate job reports and paperwork daily.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and support teams.
  • Plan and manage your workload to meet deadlines and appointments.
  • Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Follow company procedures and health & safety requirements.
  • Support team success through collaboration and a positive attitude.
  • Work efficiently and help identify improvements that add value to the business.
  • Experience with

EV charging systems and Solar PV installations .

  • Valid
  • ECS Gold Card

(minimum requirement).

  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital reporting systems.
  • Previous experience in a

Field Engineer or Electrical Engineer role.

  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
