We're an award‑winning independent venue built inside a former garage, combining coffee, breakfast, bar, street food, live music, motorcycle culture and community events under one roof.
Every week is different, from busy breakfast services and bike nights to live bands, farmers markets and community events.
About the role As General Manager , you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day operation of the venue, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service while maintaining high standards across all areas of the business.
You’ll work closely with the Directors to develop the business, improve performance and help shape the future of Project Eighty Three.
This is not a desk‑based management role.
You’ll be leading shifts, supporting your team and serving customers daily.
Key responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop the front‑of‑house team.
Take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the venue in the Directors’ absence.
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues professionally.
Manage staff rotas and labour costs.
Recruit, train and coach team members.
Monitor stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships.
Manage stock control, wastage and gross profit.
Ensure compliance with licensing legislation, food safety and health
