We’re now looking for a driven Area Sales Manager – Distribution to take ownership of a key, field‑based region, with regional travel across Northants, East Anglia and Essex, delivering and developing sales activity across our growing distribution network. What you’ll be doing:
- As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your region, driving performance and building long‑term commercial relationships.
- Deliver and develop regional sales plans across electrical wholesalers, builders merchants, plumbers merchants and installers
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers and industry professionals
- Manage and grow a high‑performing sales pipeline through effective CRM use
- Produce accurate quotations aligned with regional pricing agreements
- Represent the business at trade events, site visits and customer meetings
- Provide monthly sales forecasts and performance insights
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Distribution and wider teams to deliver against the CÜRV 360 Sales Strategy
We’re looking for someone commercially sharp, proactive, and confident in a field‑based sales environment.
- Proven experience in field sales within electrical wholesalers, builders merchants, plumbing merchants or installer networks
- Strong knowledge of your regional market and key players
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders
- Experience within EV, renewable energy or HVAC (advantageous)
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Ability to travel extensively across your region, including occasional overnight stays
