We're running an introductory session with a consultancy ahead of upcoming Product roles. They're looking to meet 6 Product Managers who have strong operational retail product experience (e.g. scheduling, timesheets, workforce tools), plus proven exposure to large-scale AI and data programmes. The session will be used to assess fit, capability depth, and availability ahead of formal roles being released.

Projects will range from 3-9 months. They are typically 2-3 days per week on-site in London with the remainder worked remotely. Estimated day rate is £400-£675 Inside IR35.

Tasks:

  • Support delivery of operational retail products - particularly workforce/ops tooling such as scheduling, clocking-in, timesheets, and related operational platforms.
  • Play a critical role in AI-enabled delivery, contributing from either a Product or Data/AI angle across large programmes.
  • Work cross-functionally across business, data and engineering, helping shape requirements, prioritise delivery, and ensure solutions are scalable, usable, and operationally ready.

Requirements:

  • An independent consultant.
  • Consultancy background is preferred.
  • Sector experience in retail / supermarkets / consumer and/or financial services.
  • Product experience in operational retail tooling, including workforce management products such as scheduling, clocking-in, time tracking, and related operational systems.
  • Hands-on AI programme delivery exposure, including one or more of: Applied AI delivery, AI Agents, AI data cleansing, readiness, and data quality foundations.
  • Broader data skills aligned to prior detail shared.
