Role: Sustainability Consultant - BREEAM Assessor (Contract role)

Location: Remote with UK working hours

We're supporting a global construction and sustainability consultancy that advises clients across major real estate, infrastructure and sustainability programmes worldwide. The organisation is recognised for delivering complex asset and environmental performance projects while building long-term relationships with investors, asset owners and public-sector clients.

They are looking for support with the delivery of BREEAM assessments across a portfolio of operational buildings. The roles focus on gathering and analysing asset-level evidence, assessing building performance against BREEAM In-Use criteria and producing clear, practical recommendations to improve sustainability outcomes.

Tasks:

  • Lead and quality-assure Part 1 asset performance assessments across multiple buildings/projects
  • Ensure timely delivery against short contract windows and support contracting/onboarding queries
  • Provide robust, client-facing reports and a clear remediation roadmap

Requirements:

  • An independent consultant
  • 3-6 years' experience working on building performance, sustainability or BREEAM-related assessments. E.g. Open to Fitwell or LEED experience
  • Nice-to-have: Fluent in Polish, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or French
