At Project Better Energy, we’re on a mission to make renewable energy accessible to everyone. We take pride in specialising in all elements of green technology. Through working together, our goal is to achieve a carbon net-zero, eco-friendly future by providing high-quality products and services.

As the UK’s largest premium solar installer, backed by private equity and growing rapidly, we’re bringing key digital capabilities in‑house. This role is a critical part of that shift. If you’re a developer who thinks like a performance marketer, loves moving fast, and wants to see your work directly impact revenue, you’ll thrive here.

From day one, you’ll own our funnel infrastructure, building, testing, and iterating at the speed the marketing team needs. If the ads team wants three new landing page variants this week? You make it happen no tickets, no delays, no excuses.

We want to ensure that all applicants have a fair and equal opportunity, so we ask candidates to complete a short set of qualifying questions through TestGorilla. This helps us keep our hiring process consistent and minimise unconscious bias.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and iterate high‑converting quiz funnels focused on qualification (not just completion)
  • Develop landing pages across WordPress, page builders, and custom HTML/CSS/JS
  • Convert briefs into clean, fast-loading, conversion‑focused pages that connect ad clicks to booked appointments
  • Treat every page as a live experiment monitor performance, identify drop‑offs, propose tests, and iterate quickly
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing, ads, creative, and analytics teams in a fast-moving, data-led environment
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate output (where appropriate)
  • Maintain clean, organised builds while working at speed
Essential Skills & Experience (Must Haves):
  • A portfolio of landing pages and funnel work
  • Proven experience with multiple landing page builders (GoHighLevel, Unbounce, WordPress, Webflow etc.)
  • Ability to work across both page builders and custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • A performance‑first mindset you care about results, not just clean code
  • Ability to move quickly without creating technical debt
  • Comfortable analysing performance data and iterating based on results
  • Self-starter attitude confident making decisions and owning outcomes
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding workflows
  • Experience with GA4, Meta Pixel or similar analytics/tracking setup
  • Background in performance marketing, direct response or lead generation

We’re not looking for someone who just builds pages. We’re hiring someone who thinks conversion-first, comfortable across GoHighLevel, Unbounce, WordPress, Webflow and custom HTML/CSS/JS and confident taking a brief and running with it independently.

Why join Project Solar UK?
  • Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday - Hybrid
  • 25 days holiday plus
