We're building a brand-new Sales Development team at Project Better Energy and are looking for ambitious individuals to join us. Whether you're already working in sales or looking for your next career move, this is an opportunity to join a growing commercial team where performance, attitude and development are genuinely recognised. This role offers a clear pathway into Business Development and commercial sales, making it ideal for someone who wants more than just a job and is looking to build a long-term career.

Salary between £28,000 - £30,000 with high commission (Depending on experience). Chatham, Kent | Office-based | Full Time | Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week.

  • Experience in lead generation, SDR, BDR, telesales or outbound sales.
  • Confident communicating with others.
  • Enjoy building relationships and starting conversations.
  • Motivated by targets and personal success.

  • Want to learn and develop within a commercial environment.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, recruitment, estate agency, telesales, account management or similar customer-facing roles would be highly advantageous.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided, giving you the tools needed to succeed and progress.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities, helping to build a strong and consistent sales pipeline.
  • Researching and identifying target organisations.
  • Engaging business decision-makers through professional outbound activity.
  • Conducting structured, early-stage discovery conversations.
  • Clearly explaining the value of energy analysis and consultation.
  • Asking for and securing Letters of Authorisation (LoAs).
  • Qualifying and handing over high-quality opportunities to senior sales colleagues.
  • Working closely with Business Development Managers to support pipeline growth.
