As Passive Fire Site Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations across multiple social housing projects in and around Watford. The primary focus of the role is fire stopping works, with fire door knowledge a valuable additional skill. You will manage installation teams, oversee quality and compliance, and act as the key point of contact between site, clients and the wider project team. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and office-based teams, ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme across a variety of occupied residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver passive fire protection projects with a primary focus on fire stopping across multiple social housing sites
  • Oversee fire door works where required — fire door knowledge a strong advantage
  • Understand the scope of works and plan and motivate site operatives for maximum productivity
  • Liaise directly with clients and building users to obtain access and resolve on-site issues
  • Induct operatives to site-specific requirements and company procedures
  • Enforce a right-first-time culture and ensure quality standards are maintained at all times
  • Carry out quality assurance checks and ensure sign-off of works on site
  • Deliver toolbox talks, carry out site inspections and conduct equipment checks
  • Capture progress and variation information for accurate reporting
  • Complete and maintain all site paperwork and diaries
  • Ensure sites are fully stocked with materials and access equipment, minimising waste
  • Carry out accurate site surveys and measuring
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all sites at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within passive fire protection with a strong focus on fire stopping
  • Experience managing multiple social housing sites and teams simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of passive fire compliance standards including FIRAS, BM TRADA and IFC
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Passive Fire Protection
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • First Aid
  • Comfortable working in occupied residential environments
