Now Hiring: Temporary Fire Door & Passive Fire Protection Surveyor £220–£260/day | Immediate Start | 8–10 Week Project | Potential Extension Our client, a respected name in the fire safety and compliance sector, is seeking a reliable and experienced Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of Fire Door and Passive Fire Protection (PFP) inspection projects. This is a temporary contract offering 8–10 weeks of work across the Bath, Bristol, and Weston-super-Mare region, with the potential for extension depending on ongoing project requirements. You will be part of a professional team ensuring delivery of high-standard surveys and compliance reporting across a range of property types, including healthcare, residential, and commercial buildings. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough surveys of fire doors and passive fire protection installations * Produce detailed reports and identify required remedial works * Log survey data using digital tools such as Bolster or similar platforms * Liaise with site contacts to coordinate access and survey completion * Work independently while representing a professional service on site Ideal Candidate: * Demonstrable experience in fire door and/or PFP surveying * Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance requirements * Competent in the use of digital surveying tools and clear written communication * Flexible to travel and available to start at short notice * Professional approach and self-motivated when working independently Desirable: * Relevant certifications (FDIS, ASFP, IFC, BM TRADA, or similar) * Experience with platforms like Bolster, Onetrace, or equivalent What’s Offered: * Competitive daily rate of £220 – £260 (depending on experience) * 8–10 week contract with the possibility of further extension * Support from a highly organised operations and reporting team * Access to interesting and varied fire safety projects * Immediate start available To express your interest or request more information, please apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion
