The Role
We are seeking a Surveyor to join a rapidly growing passive fire and fire-safety business operating across the Midlands and Sheffield region. The role focuses on high-quality on-site data collection, compliance inspections and professional engagement with residents and clients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed on-site surveys and inspections, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance
- Collect and record data to support passive fire and fire-stopping programmes and remedial works
- Engage professionally with residents, clients and site teams to secure access and maintain positive relationships
- Work confidently within occupied buildings, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Support passive fire and fire-stopping assessments in line with current standards and best practice
- Manage your own workload across multiple sites while maintaining high attention to detail
About You
- Detail-oriented with a structured and methodical approach to surveying
- Well-presented, professional and comfortable engaging with residents and clients
- Able to build rapport quickly and overcome access challenges where required
- Motivated to join a growing business and contribute to its long-term success
- Passive fire / fire-stopping knowledge is advantageous
- Asbestos awareness or relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
