Location: South of England (Primarily Swindon & Kingston Area)

Salary: £50,000 and paid travel time (around £5,000 depending on travelling) + Van

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing passive fire protection specialist delivering works across a range of live and complex environments including healthcare facilities, social housing, student accommodation and occupied buildings. The business has a strong national reputation built on technical accuracy, compliance and clear client communication, with a solid pipeline of secured projects and continued expansion across its operations team. The majority of works are based around the Swindon and Kingston area, offering relative regional stability for the right candidate.

As Passive Fire Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of fire stopping and passive fire protection works on site. You will manage programme timelines, quality standards and commercial performance, whilst leading installation teams and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with relevant compliance standards. You will work closely with clients, the Operations Manager and office-based teams to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish across a variety of occupied and complex building environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver passive fire protection projects with a primary focus on fire stopping works
  • Coordinate daily site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
  • Lead, supervise and develop installation teams on site, promoting high standards of workmanship and safety
  • Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager and wider office team
  • Produce regular progress reports and site updates
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and professional communication
  • Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with relevant specifications, regulations and passive fire standards
  • Identify and escalate any site issues that may impact programme, quality or cost
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in site or project management within passive fire protection, with a primary focus on fire stopping
  • Experience managing multiple operatives and subcontractors across active sites
  • Experience working within occupied or complex buildings such as healthcare, social housing or student accommodation
  • Strong understanding of passive fire compliance, compartmentation and fire stopping standards including FIRAS, BM TRADA and IFC certification schemes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain high performance standards
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
  • Proactive attitude with a desire to develop professionally
Qualifications:
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Passive Fire Protection
  • FIRAS Operative Accreditation desirable
  • IFC Certification desirable
  • BM TRADA Q-Mark accreditation desirable
