We are looking for an experienced Senior Fire Commissioning Supervisor to join our team, supporting both Service and Projects across the UK. This is a senior technical role combining hands-on commissioning with leadership, auditing, and mentoring responsibilities. You will spend two days per week in the office supporting technical operations, reviewing documentation, and assisting engineers across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Commission, maintain, and fault-find fire alarm systems to a high technical standard.
- Ensure full compliance with UK fire standards (BS 5839 and related regulations).
- Act as the technical lead and point of escalation for complex commissioning issues.
- Support project delivery and service operations across the UK.
- Audit engineers' work, ensuring quality, compliance, and best practice.
- Mentor and support engineers across the business.
- Manage your own workload effectively and professionally.
- Spend two days per week in the office assisting with technical operations, documentation, and planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in fire engineering.
- Strong commissioning background across fire alarm systems.
- FIA qualifications (essential).
- Excellent understanding of UK fire standards and industry best practice.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Relevant manufacturer training.
