Our client is a well-established and growing UK manufacturer specialising in high-quality timber and composite fire-rated doorsets, supplying the construction, social housing and commercial sectors nationwide. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking to appoint an experienced Key Account Manager to join their internal sales team. This is an office-based position focused on developing long-term client relationships, managing key customer accounts, and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to order completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining exceptional customer service whilst identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

The Role

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key customer accounts.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Managing enquiries and preparing quotations before converting opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and securing new project opportunities.
  • Coordinating projects throughout the order lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
  • Working collaboratively with internal departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Identifying opportunities to develop existing accounts and increase revenue.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an internal account management, sales or customer relationship role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, building products or a related industry. You will also demonstrate:

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
