We are working with a well-established specialist contractor delivering passive fire protection works across the South of England. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Fire Stopping Site Manager on a permanent basis.
This role will be predominantly focused on social housing fire stopping programmes, with additional exposure to MOD and commercial projects.
The Role:
- Managing day-to-day fire stopping works across multiple sites in the South
- Overseeing operatives and subcontractors delivering fire stopping packages
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with specifications, drawings, and fire strategy
- Carrying out site inspections and quality checks (batt, mastic, penetration sealing, risers, compartmentation)
- Liaising with clients, residents, and internal teams to keep projects running smoothly
- Ensuring health & safety and compliance standards are maintained at all times
- Supporting reporting, sign-off, and close-out of works
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor within fire stopping / passive fire protection
- Strong knowledge of fire stopping systems and installation standards
- Experience working on social housing projects is highly desirable
- Comfortable managing multiple sites and teams across a regional area
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level) and First Aid preferred
