As a Passive Fire Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys across a variety of building types—including residential, commercial, and industrial premises. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed fire door, fire stopping, and compartmentation surveys.
  • Provide high-quality data capture using digital tools and record management systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure survey accuracy and readiness for project delivery.
  • Offer informal guidance to clients on fire safety principles and improvements.
  • Conduct audits post-remediation to ensure quality assurance and compliance with scope.
  • Maximise access to properties and deliver high volumes of quality survey work.
  • Attend team meetings and maintain regular contact with your line manager and team.
  • Complete all relevant health & safety documentation and follow RAMS and safe systems of work.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience conducting passive fire surveys (fire doors/fire stopping essential).
  • BM Trada knowledge or third-party accreditation is desirable.
  • Excellent time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the business on-site.
  • Confident using digital software for logging survey results and reports.
  • UK driving licence essential (company vehicle provided).
