This is a genuinely varied, hybrid position offering the opportunity to shape working practices as the fire division grows, with a temp to perm route available for the right candidate. All works are local to the Hertfordshire, Luton and Hatfield area.
This is a hybrid Site Manager role combining survey work, site organisation and labour management across fire door and fire stopping projects. You will carry out compliance surveys, organise site logistics and resourcing, and manage operatives delivering passive fire works, ensuring all activity is recorded accurately and meets the high standards of traceability and compliance expected across regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out fire stopping and compartmentation surveys to assess compliance and identify works required
- Organise site logistics, resourcing and labour requirements across live projects
- Manage operatives delivering fire door and fire stopping installation works
- Ensure all works are completed in line with FIRAS accreditation and manufacturer-specific installation guidance
- Maintain accurate audit trails and reporting using OneTrace
- Carry out quality control checks to ensure works meet required compliance standards
- Liaise with clients and site contacts professionally throughout project delivery
- Support the development of working practices as the fire division grows
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all sites
- Proven experience in passive fire protection – fire stopping and compartmentation essential, fire door knowledge valuable
- Experience surveying as well as managing site operations and labour
- Strong understanding of FIRAS accreditation and manufacturer installation guidance
- Experience using OneTrace or similar digital recording and audit systems – desirable
- Comfortable working within regulated, compliance-driven environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage both survey and site management responsibilities
- CSCS Card – required
- SMSTS or SSSTS – required
- Full UK Driving Licence – required
