We are recruiting on behalf of two leading organisations within the fire protection and specialist joinery sectors, both seeking talented Contracts Managers to oversee the full lifecycle of passive fire protection and carpentry-related projects. These roles offer the opportunity to join well-established teams, each delivering essential safety and compliance services across the UK. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the end-to-end management of multiple contracts
- Leading negotiations and acting as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal project teams
- Ensuring all work is delivered to compliance and quality standards
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising operational teams across various sites
- Identifying and resolving project challenges efficiently
- Providing technical insight and maintaining strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle
Both companies deliver passive fire protection and specialist joinery services, so experience in these areas will be highly advantageous. We welcome applications from individuals who can demonstrate:
- Ideally 2+ years’ Contract/Project Management experience within joinery/carpentry and/or Passive Fire Protection
- Strong understanding of fire safety, building regulations, or construction site operations
- Excellent organisational and people-management skills
- Confidence in leading negotiations and managing multiple stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required
Qualifications and requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Wood Occupations (Joinery) / Passive Fire Protection or similar
- CSCS card (beneficial)
- NVQ Level 7 Construction Site Management (or equivalent) – desirable
