We are currently looking for experienced Fire Damper Engineers to join the team on a nationwide basis! This is a technical, hands-on role suited to engineers with proven experience working with fire dampers and a strong understanding of passive fire protection. You will be responsible for a combination of fire damper installation, maintenance, inspection and remedial works, while also supporting the wider operations team with technical findings and project requirements. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out installation, maintenance and remedial works to fire dampers. * Conducting scheduled and one-off fire damper condition inspections. * Reviewing compartmentation drawings, operation and maintenance manuals and fire risk assessments. * Identifying defects, remedial requirements and building-specific complexities. * Completing accurate inspection reports, records and building checklists. * Travelling to sites nationwide, with a mixture of day and night work depending on project requirements. About You. You will ideally have: * Proven experience in fire damper installation, inspection, maintenance and/or remedial works. * A strong understanding of passive fire protection principles. * Relevant technical qualifications. * Good knowledge of applicable fire safety standards and industry requirements. * The ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings and building information. * Strong attention to detail when completing inspection reports and records. * A full UK driving licence. * Flexibility to travel nationwide and work a combination of days and nights when required.
