A leading national contractor specialising in property services, compliance and fire protection is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing Passive Fire Protection division. Operating across London and the South East, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong reputation, secure long-term frameworks and a substantial pipeline of work within the social housing sector.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of multiple passive fire protection contracts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on programme and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of passive fire protection contracts across London and the South East
  • Oversee operational performance, programme delivery and contract compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Lead supervisors, site teams and directly employed operatives
  • Monitor productivity, quality standards and project performance
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with industry regulations, specifications and health & safety requirements
  • Coordinate labour, resources and project schedules across multiple live contracts
  • Support the continued growth and development of the regional fire protection business

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Contracts Manager role within Passive Fire Protection, Fire Protection or a related construction discipline
  • Experience managing multiple projects or contracts simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors or associated compliance works
  • Experience working within social housing, planned maintenance or compliance-led environments would be advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and manage operational teams effectively
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving
