We’re working with a specialist contractor in the fire protection space to appoint a Small Works Project Manager with experience delivering fire damper and ventilation system projects across a range of environments. This role will focus on the operational management of smaller-scale passive fire projects, including associated decorating and snagging works. You’ll take responsibility for works from planning through to completion, often travelling between multiple sites primarily in and around London, with nationwide travel and overnight stays as needed. The Role: * Manage multiple passive fire projects simultaneously, typically focused on fire dampers and ventilation/smoke extract systems * Coordinate all stages of the works from mobilisation to handover, including labour, materials, and programme * Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification * Oversee snagging and finishing works, ensuring quality standards are upheld throughout * Ensure compliance documentation is recorded accurately, using digital tools such as Onetrace or similar platforms * Carry out site audits, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS are completed and followed * Monitor project costs and support with invoicing, variations, and reporting * Maintain strong working relationships with clients, representing the business in a professional and proactive manner * Support subcontractor management and ensure consistent quality across all workstreams About You: * Experience delivering passive fire and/or mechanical ventilation projects, ideally in small works or fast-paced environments * Strong working knowledge of fire dampers, ventilation systems, and compliance requirements * Able to travel nationally and stay away from home when required * Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects * Excellent communication and client-facing skills * Comfortable using reporting systems and compliance apps to log project data * Full UK driving licence is essential This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager / Junior Project Manager who thrives in a varied and mobile role.
