Our client is a well-established passive fire protection contractor delivering quality fire door, partition door, and fire stopping works across London (most of the work) and the South East. With a strong reputation for quality and progression, they are now looking for a driven Supervisor / Site Manager to join their growing team. The Role This position is ideal for an experienced Supervisor or Working Foreman looking to take the next step in their career and grow into a full Site Manager position. You’ll be working closely under the guidance of the Project Manager, managing a team of 6–8 operatives on site and ensuring high standards of compliance, safety, and workmanship are maintained across all projects. Key Responsibilities * Supervise day-to-day site operations for fire door and fire stopping projects * Lead and support a small team of operatives * Ensure all works are delivered to compliance and safety standards * Maintain site documentation and progress reports * Liaise with clients and site contacts to support smooth delivery * Support the Project Manager in planning and coordination What We’re Looking For * SSSTS or SMSTS and First Aid certification (minimum requirement) * Experience in fire door installations, remedials, or fire stopping works * Strong organisational and communication skills * Someone ambitious, reliable, and progression-driven * Open to coaching and mentorship from the Project Manager * Flexible to move between local sites when required Contract Details * Initial 12-week temp-to-perm arrangement * CIS day rate: £240–£250/day during temp period * Permanent salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + vehicle allowance * Use of own van during temp period (mileage paid) * Static site work (no need to carry materials)
