We are currently looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join a leader in the fire protection services for an ongoing project. The carpenter must have experience surveying doors and being able to ease and adjust them. The works will be carried out across Chester, so the right candidate must have a small van or car in order to travel between sites. The role will be starting ASAP. Work will be on a day rate depending on your experience.

The successful candidate will need:

  • At least 2 years experience working with fire doors
  • Good knowledge and background working in carpentry and joinery
  • Previous experience installing fire doors and frames
  • Previous experience upgrading existing doors and frames
  • Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
  • FDIS certificate
  • Knowledge of BMTRADA
  • Own tools
  • Own car/small van
