For Companies A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team. You will be working on social housing properties carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works to existing fire doors and frames. The works will be based across the M25 and into central London, so the successful candidate must be happy to travel. You will also be provided with a company van and a fuel card. Knowledge of BMTRADA and FIREAS is preferred.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least two years experience working with fire doors
- A strong background in carpentry and joinery
- NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
- Experience installing fire doors and frames
- Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
- Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
- Full UK driving license
- 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme
What's on offer?
- £40,000 - £44,000 per annum
- Fire door works on mostly social housing properties
- Installing pre-fabricated sets and carrying out remedial works to existing doors and frames
- Travel required
