As a result of growth, our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing team.
You’ll be working across domestic and commercial properties, primarily within the social housing and local authority sectors, taking responsibility for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Fire Alarm and AOV systems.

Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and commissioning Fire Alarm and AOV systems.
- Reading and working from fire alarm or AOV drawings and specs.
- Ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and BS 5839 regulations.
- Programming and testing various fire alarm controls and closed protocol systems.
- Completing reports and certification via the Oneserve app.
- Liaising with office and supervisory teams to keep projects on track.
- Attending training sessions and contributing to company performance goals.
Requirements:
- Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in the fire safety industry.
- Skilled in installation, maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of fire systems.
- Up-to-date knowledge of fire safety standards and legislation.
- Proactive approach to Health & Safety.
- Competent using mobile tech for job reporting.
- Organised, reliable, and customer-focused with great communication skills.
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 3 in Electrical Installation (essential)
- FIA training and certification (essential)
- FIA AO Level 3 in Fire Detection & Alarm Design Theory and Regulatory Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
- Right to work in the UK
