Pro-Group Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a highly respected and well-established organisation within the fire safety sector, to recruit an experienced Fire Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a company renowned for delivering high-quality services, maintaining safety standards, and providing exceptional customer care to clients and residents alike. The Role As a Fire Engineer, you will play a key role as the first point of contact between our client and their customers. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will ensure that all works are completed to a high standard, in line with contract requirements, safety regulations, and company policies. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, who thrives on delivering a professional service. Key Responsibilities * Carry out fire alarm servicing, maintenance, reactive repairs, and installation works * Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and effectively * Deliver works to the required standards and in accordance with procedures. * Provide outstanding customer service, upholding the company’s reputation * Produce timely and accurate reports * Adhere to quality management systems and ensure responsible recycling practices * Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations Candidate Requirements * Proven experience in fire alarm maintenance, installations, and repairs (public sector experience advantageous) * FIA qualification desirable but not essential * Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials * Current trade qualifications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * IT literate with the ability to use reporting tools * A genuine commitment to excellent customer service Salary & Benefits * Competitive salary based on experience (PAYE) * 23 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per full year of service (up to 25 days) + 8 bank holidays * Option to sell back up to 3 days or carry over to the next holiday year * Auto-enrolment pension scheme * Company vehicle and fuel card provided where required * Company phone and tablet as needed * All necessary tools and equipment provided * Enhanced pay rates: * 🕓 Time and a half – evenings & Saturdays * 🌙 Double time – nights, Sundays & bank holidays * Weekend working and out-of-hours callout opportunities available * Flexible working arrangements by agreement * Comprehensive training and development programme including in-house and external courses, e-learning, and structured progression opportunities * Strong focus on employee wellbeing, with access to confidential external support services Why This Opportunity?
